The Origin
Aurala began with a simple frustration. Mould kept appearing in everyday parts of the home, especially in moisture-prone spaces. The usual solutions didn't feel right. Chemical products were harsh and unpleasant to live with, while many natural options relied on claims that were difficult to trust.
The Approach
That idea shaped Aurala. The approach is intentionally straightforward. Use carefully selected botanical compounds, apply them in a way that fits into daily life, and focus on consistency rather than quick fixes.
Diffusion made sense because it's low-effort and easy to maintain over time. Testing and standards matter, because without them it's hard to know what you're really using.
First Light
First Light was created as a small daily ritual. Not a treatment or a cleaner, but something that quietly supports the environment you live in. Aurala is for people who want a calmer, more considered way to care for their homes.
Defining the Category
Before Aurala, mould products meant one thing: treatment after the fact. Harsh chemicals, reactive measures, surface-level thinking. We saw a gap, not in the market, but in the approach itself.

We're careful about claims. The wellness industry is full of exaggerated promises and pseudo-scientific language. We've chosen a different approach: say less, substantiate more.
Our formulation is IFRA compliant. We're transparent about what natural mould defence can and cannot do. This rigour takes longer and costs more, but it's the only foundation we're willing to build on.
