How mould starts

Mould needs three things, moisture, warmth, and organic material to feed on. Modern airtight homes create exactly those conditions, especially in bathrooms, laundries, and rooms with limited ventilation.

Most approaches focus on cleaning visible mould after it appears. That handles what is visible. It does not change the air the spores travel through.

How First Light fits in

First Light works through the air, meeting mould spores before they settle. Use it in a diffuser, a few drops in your cupboard, or a spray bottle. All three work the same way, the oils spread through the air.

Used daily, First Light keeps meeting mould spores before they settle. A protective barrier for your home.

It works alongside good ventilation, moisture control, and regular cleaning, not instead of them. One quiet layer in a daily home routine.

Six 100% natural essential oils

Clove, eucalyptus, litsea cubeba, tea tree, peppermint, cedarwood. Each chosen for a specific role in the blend, each tested for purity. A premium botanical blend for fresher indoor air.

The laboratory test

Under laboratory conditions, the blend was tested and showed a 99.2% reduction in Aspergillus niger (black mould). One observation, on one organism, under controlled conditions.

The bread test on the proof page is the home version of the same observation. We share what was observed, no more.

What we don't claim

First Light is a 100% natural household consumer product. Not a registered disinfectant. Not a remediation product. If you have established mould growth, professional remediation may be necessary.
