Peppermint (menthol) adds a membrane-active antifungal action. Cedarwood (cedrol) is a natural fixative that slows evaporation so one dose lingers longer.

Love it! Smells so good and it’s like magic, I don’t get how it works so well but it does. It has really cleared up my bathroom mould drastically.
Easy to order and prompt delivery. The scent is just lovely and the unsuited smells fresh all the time. It took a bit to work out the diffuser. It is hard to say definitely that the mould resistance is evident as yet but, certainly have not seen any more. Would recommend the product.

Which diffuser should I use it with?
Any pure essential oil diffuser will run it. A waterless diffuser delivers the full lab-tested concentration because the oil is not diluted. Water-based works but at reduced strength.
How long does one bottle last?
Diffused daily in one room, a 15ml bottle lasts roughly six weeks. Less often, longer. Across multiple rooms, shorter.
Safe around kids and pets?
First Light is a natural essential-oil blend made for everyday home use. Use it as directed with the room ventilated, keep it out of reach of children and pets, and take extra care around cats, which process some plant compounds differently to people. Will it stain walls or fabric?
The oils are colourless as vapour. Direct drops on very absorbent surfaces (untreated plaster, raw timber) can leave a residue. In a diffuser, no staining.
How do I store it?
Cool, dark, cap on. The satin mint bottle blocks UV. Away from direct sunlight and heat. Kept sealed, it lasts two years from the bottling date.
What if it does not work?

Can I use it in other things (spray, cleaner)?
Diffuser use is what it is designed and tested for. Some customers add a few drops to a spray bottle for spot use on grout, but the lab-tested reduction number (99.2%) is a direct-contact figure and requires the concentration to hold.
