Fresh and bright. Travels well through the air. The lightest citrus note in the blend.


Key compound: Citral.

Tea tree leaves

Tea Tree

Melaleuca alternifolia

Adds strength and clarity to the blend. A familiar Australian plant, on the ARTG (entry 273771).


Tested for: Purity before mixing.

Fresh peppermint leaves

Peppermint

Mentha piperita

Helps the blend spread through the air. Reaches corners and hard-to-reach spots.


Fresh, cooling smell.


Role: Better air coverage.

Cedarwood

Holds the blend together. Slows the lighter oils so they last longer.


Warm, woody smell.


Role: Holds the blend over time.
