First Light is an essential oil blend designed to target airborne mould spores. Each oil has a specific job.

Clove and Litsea Cubeba are the primary antifungals: their eugenol and citral disrupt the ergosterol wall that black mould uses to build its cells. Tea tree and eucalyptus contain their own antifungal compounds — terpinen-4-ol and 1,8-cineole — that damage fungal cell membranes and broaden coverage across species. Peppermint adds a membrane-active antimicrobial layer. Cedarwood acts as a natural fixative, slowing evaporation so one dose lingers longer in the air.
